General Overview

What is Gro?

Gro is an AI‑powered LinkedIn automation tool designed for B2B sales teams. It automates prospecting, connections, and outreach at scale—while maintaining personalization and authenticity to help grow your network and pipeline.

Who is Gro for?

Gro is built for B2B sales professionals and teams who want to scale their LinkedIn outreach without sacrificing personalization.

Specifically, Gro is for:

  • Founders & startup teams looking to drive outbound sales without hiring SDRs.

  • B2B sales reps and revenue teams aiming to fill their pipeline with qualified leads faster.

  • Marketing & growth leaders who want to automate social selling and boost engagement.

  • Agencies managing LinkedIn outreach on behalf of multiple clients.

  • Enterprise teams that need multi-agent coordination, centralized inboxes, and campaign analytics.

Whether you're a solo rep or running a 50-seat sales org, Gro helps you reach more prospects, start more conversations, and close more deals—without the busywork.

What kind of company uses Gro?

Gro is used by a wide range of companies — from fast-growing startups to established B2B teams. It’s especially valuable for:

  • Sales teams looking to automate LinkedIn outreach and book more meetings

  • Consultants and coaches building a strong professional network

  • Marketing and growth teams driving awareness and engagement

  • Agencies managing outreach for multiple clients

If your business relies on LinkedIn for prospecting, or relationship-building, Gro can help you scale with personalization and efficiency.

Who on my team should use Gro?

Gro is ideal for anyone on your team who actively connects with prospects or builds relationships on LinkedIn — especially in B2B settings focused on reaching ideal customers and decision-makers.

GTM leaders typically define the criteria for lead enrichment, segmentation, and outreach strategy, while individual team members execute campaigns based on those targets.

This includes:

  • Sales reps and SDRs – to automate outreach and follow-ups

  • Founders and consultants – to grow their network and generate leads

  • Marketing and growth teams – to support campaign engagement

  • Account managers or client-facing roles – to nurture customer relationships

At startups, a growth lead often sets up and runs all outreach efforts single-handedly using Gro.

At outbound agencies, one founder or strategist may manage campaigns for multiple clients across different verticals.

Gro helps these roles scale their efforts while keeping outreach personalized and efficient.

Can I customize what counts as an MQL or SQL?

Gro uses AI to automatically assign MQL and SQL stages based on fit and behavior — but yes, you can manually update lead stages at any time in the Social CRM Table.

How long does it take to set up my first campaign?

Usually just a few minutes—Gro guides you step-by-step.

Can I duplicate an existing campaign to reuse the structure?

How does Gro's AI automation work?

Gro’s AI automates your outbound workflow by finding the right leads, generating personalized messages, and sequencing actions like profile visits, connection requests, and follow-ups. It analyzes each lead’s role, company, and behavior to craft human-like outreach

How does the AI personalize outreach messages?

Gro’s AI Writing Assistant helps you craft personalized messages with just a few clicks. In your workflow, under the “Send Message” step, turn on the AI Writing Assistant.

You can customize how the AI generates your message by configuring:

  • Message length

  • Tone and formality

  • Engagement with recent activity — the AI will analyze the recipient’s latest LinkedIn posts to tailor the message.

For the best results, provide a clear message purpose to guide the AI. This helps it understand your intent and generate a message that feels relevant and authentic. This field is required for stronger personalization.

What is the AI Post Commenter?

The AI Post Commenter interacts with your prospects' posts intelligently, increasing engagement and helping you build stronger connections.

What actions can Gro automate?

Gro automates profile visits, connection requests, follow-ups, post commenting, profile follows, and company page follows to increase your engagement.

How are tasks and follow-ups managed automatically?

Once you import your prospect list, you can set up an automated workflow using Gro’s campaign builder. We provide ready-to-use templates that guide you through strategic steps — from engaging with posts to sending connection requests and follow-up messages.

After saving your flow, Gro will automatically run the campaign, executing each step according to your settings — so you can stay productive while maintaining a personal touch.

Do I need technical knowledge to use Gro?

Not at all—Gro is designed to be simple and beginner-friendly.

Lead Management

What is a Propensity Score in Gro?

Gro’s Propensity Score rates how likely a lead is to convert, based on factors like role fit, company profile, and tech relevance — so you can focus on the best-fit prospects first.

Can I see which step a lead is on in the campaign?

Yes! Just click on any lead in the Social CRM table — the panel on the right will show their activity timeline, including actions like profile visit, post engagement, etc. This gives you a clear view of where they are in the outreach flow.

How does Gro’s AI decide who to target?

Gro’s AI analyzes each lead across three key dimensions:

- Role & Seniority Fit – Are they the right person to make or influence buying decisions?

- Company Profile Fit – Does their company align with your ideal customer profile (industry, size, growth stage)?

- Tech Relevance – Do they adopt tech solutions like yours? Are they likely to invest in new tools?

Gro calculates a Propensity Score for every lead based on these factors — so you can prioritize high-fit, high-intent prospects with confidence.

Can I use AI scoring or intent data to prioritize who enters campaigns?

Yes — Gro IQ gives each lead a propensity and intent score, so you can choose to add only the ones with high scores into your campaigns.

What’s the difference between intent score and propensity score?

- Propensity Score predicts likelihood to convert, based on role, company fit, and data history.

- Intent Score measures real-time buying behavior and engagement, so you know when they’re ready to act.

Can I see why a lead has a high or low score?

Yes, just click on the lead’s score in the Social CRM table to view a detailed breakdown. Gro shows you exactly what influenced the score, including role fit, company profile, tech signals, and engagement behavior.

What are technology signals (Tech Relevance), and how does Gro use them?

Gro detects which tools a company is using, when they adopt new solutions, and where gaps exist — helping you time your outreach when they’re in an active buying cycle.

What kind of behavior counts as buying intent?

Gro identifies buying intent based on real engagement signals — like replying to your messages, sharing contact info, scheduling exploratory calls, or expressing interest in future chats. Higher-intent signals include demo requests, pricing questions, or repeated interactions. All of this is tracked and scored automatically by Gro Brain.

How often do propensity scores update?

Scores refresh automatically as new data comes in.

How often does Gro sync with my CRM?

Sync happens automatically in near real-time.

How long before I start seeing campaign results?

Most users see engagement within the first few days.

How often does Gro update its data and scoring models?

The system updates continuously to keep signals and scores accurate.
